This 1/4 inch cable is too small to hold the case on the boat, you need to double it like a rubber brace or make it bigger, good for small items no need to hold tight.

This bungee cord is more stretchy than the previous one, making it a better match for our large dog leash. The outer jacket seems to be woven coarser, so don't let it slip through your fingers or you'll get rope burn.

Last year I ordered a 40ft case to customize my boat travel case. It took me a little longer this year (I have no idea where I put the rest of my first order) to make a better winter coat for the same boat (now stored outside). Ordered without hesitation. This bungee looks exactly like the original on my hobie kayak. The inside is solid, not a bunch of rubber threads. Fits well and looks nice. I have used it with FMS shock hooks and they fit perfectly. It also fits perfectly on the pedals and other attachments of my kayak. Kayak seemed to know and I would use it again. I suspect that will take years.

Cable shockproof. No cheap stuff. For chair regluing and any number of other jobs that require tension, this is the product. One could easily use this to build a network that would actually keep the equipment on the truck. It is much stronger than ready made elastic cords with the same thickness as the big stores, they are fake in comparison and we all know how well they work. It's stronger than the fake 1/2" sold in parts stores to cover the body of a truck.
