Put this up in my driveway near garage.First you should know that mounting brkt is sized for a 3"x3" post.I don't recall ever seeing a 3x3 wooden post.Also the brkt is part of the entire item so can't be switched with-out cutting and welding.I joined two 4x4x8 posts and dug a 3' posthole and set in concrete before noticingthe brkt size.Had to shape the post with sawzall from a ladder at 12'.FUN.This was in June 2021.Light work-ed ok till January 2022.We've had plenty of sun lately, so that's…

The amount of lighting is perfect for a pitch dark area, with just enough sunlight to shine through to charge light.I'd started with one and ordered 2 more for the great amount of light they put out.The motion detection is on average okay but it could be a user issue. We purchased 3 of these lights to help with lighting in the back yard and drive way. They are quick to react to any motion and go to full illumination. We mounted them on 12' 4x4 post in the 3 corners. They provide a soft light on low output and not blindingly bright. The solar panel seem to charge quickly, they lights all come around 530PM and go off 7AM with no apparent loss in intensity.Great lighting solution with having to pull power to each light

I've only had it installed for two days. I didn't actually use the same installing equipment hardware that they gave me. I put a 10 foot 4 x 4, 2 feet in the ground next to my barn. You have to turn the base sideways if you're going to do it this way but it does work. Are used fence staples because like an idiot I didn't attach it before putting the post in the ground and it was too difficult when I was trying to do it standing on a 6 foot ladder. Tried to mount on a 1-3/8” outside diameter (OD) metal post. The back plate of the mount (the one NOT welded to the light) is of a thin metal gauge which BENDS/CONFORMS to the shape of the metal pole and therefore creates NO GRIP to the pole. Needless to say, when I straightened the pole, the light wobbled and came loose. MAYBE it works on larger OD posts (only the manufacturer/seller would know). It will NOT work on a 1-3/8” OD post as advertised in the product description/pictures/information

Easy to install, looks nice but the motion sensor is a real pain I have to be within several inches of it before it activates. I've gone through two others that I've returned and they're all the same.

I bought this for my front yard. It's bright and lasts the whole night until the next day but I found the motion detection to be hit and miss. I contacted support and they said it was because this model requires a certain height for installation. So just be mindful of that. The 60w requires 20ft I believe. Other than that, it's been a great light.

I put two of these lights on my boat dock 6 months ago. There is no power down there. I love these they have been working great and are definitely worth the money. Got them mounted about 10 foot off the ground and they work just fine.

These moderately bright street lights work great for a covered parking pad in a dark, rural area with no easy access to electricity. In that setting, the light is more than bright enough, although I'm not sure that it would seem as bright in an urban setting with ambient light.Installation is simple, and build quality seems good for this price point.

Have had installed for about 6 months and works great so far. The light may illuminate unwanted areas, such as neighboring properties or windows.. Hope it last many of years. Heavier than it looks

We have a shed/barn on our property, but there is no electricity running to it. This solar light is amazing. It's very bright and is sensitive to motion, but not overly (so the wind isn't tripping it to go on all night long). I am honestly thinking of getting another for around our yard. Illuminates really well.

Not very bright for a 60w more expensive light.Sitting by lake on telephone pole, 100% exposure all day, When sensor kicks on, is ok. It would be nice if it would find an in- betweenInstalls easily.

Install was relatively easy. Mounted it to a standard height light pole. Not the brightest light. Doesn't have remote capabilities either. Probably better suited for door height type applications no higher than 12ft.

Very very bright, and the two brightness levels activated by motion are a great feature. This helps my wireless cameras pick things up so much better at night. Solar panel seems to keep it well charged and hasn’t run out at any point so far.

I have had this item for a couple of weeks and the issue is the default light is so low and only is really high and great when someone walks into the sensor area. if you want some decent light all the time, this is not for you. most of the street lights now have remote, able to flex config them to work with or without sensor radar. it is a good quality product, the issue is that it is outdated for what it is. Excellent light. Great value for money . I use it to light up my backyard and to provide additional lighting for my surveillance cameras. It gets extremely bright when motion is detected, which alert me and I zoom in on that area.
