Works almost as advertised.

I love the compact design and the many features. A continuous decoder is not bad if you have a good signal. I use it to maintain my practice. All in all a very good price for the features

It does not work well. Go the other way.

I doubt mine is working properly. I would appreciate if it had better sound and instructions. It doesn't appear to be a working unit. I'll have to see if they trade it for another block. If it worked, you couldn't take it from me. This is a very smart design. Mine just doesn't work.

Decent performance, few bugs.

This works just as well as some of the cheaper SDR dongles I've used with the added benefit of being more portable. My only complaint is that direct frequency entry is tedious. There is a lot of delay in pressing keys, and sometimes the numbers will repeat if you press a completely different number. The included documentation is not helpful, but the user interface is quite intuitive and easy to understand.

  • Sensitivity
Cons
  • Expensive

Great little receiver. I need to use a touchscreen stylus because my fingers are too big. The radio needs a full, comprehensive owner's manual as I discover many hidden features that go beyond basic operation and are not explained. Join the Facebook group and watch videos on YouTube. You are very helpful. Be sure to keep the battery charged. I also use an external antenna for good reception and a balun for the telescopic antenna. Overall I like it and I like seeing the signals and signal…

  • Lockout area
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works well. A bit expensive for the performance.

When it arrived the headphones only worked on one channel. It also crashed a few times and had to restart. I was about to return it but looked inside and saw that a better headphone jack could easily be added. The touchscreen response time is slow, probably to save battery power, the processor is slow. This can be the cause of freezes, now I take my time when I press the screen. Since then no more freezing. The sound is a bit weak and a bit distorted. But for a pocket SDR radio with all these…

Pros
  • Big screen
Cons
  • Operating speed

Nice little portable radio with general coverage!

When traveling it's nice to have a small radio to hand. That's it! The controls are more or less intuitive even without instructions. Performance is fair to excellent. In most cases everything is fine, there is nothing to complain about. The main feature of this radio is its wide frequency range. (The military band isn't covered, probably due to regulations.) There are a few rough edges in the design. First, it's the LOUSY ON OFF switch! You need some kind of poker to activate it! You can't…

  • List of kits
Cons
  • Security
