Belt drive for planers in power tools and hand tools

Bought to replace the belt on a Dewalt 735 planer. I've only used it once since I changed it but everything seems to work fine . Much cheaper than a Dewalt replacement belt. We'll see how it holds up. So far, so good.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • So far so good

It works great but is difficult to install

Planer straps fit well but were a hassle to put on. They need a clamp to put enough pressure on them to get them there. They won't stretch out their arms unless you're strong as a bull. There are videos on the internet on how to do this. However, I have a strap on my slicer and it works fine. It's probably about a month now. No problem now and I have a spare if I ever need one.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
