524 D Link AirPlus Wireless Router Review

My original router failed and I was dying to have an exact same one (I'm not tech savvy). I just wanted something I could just plug in and use when it matters without having to do a lot of setup. I was very happy when it arrived and it was exactly as advertised. I will definitely use this seller again!

Although the installation CD that came with the router didn't help me set it up, I was able to call the manufacturer for assistance. This router overheats everyday and twice on Saturday. Requires constant reboot. If you want a router that you have to mess with every time you want to get online, buy this one. If you want a router that WORKS, I suggest you keep looking and buy another one.

I've had this router for 7 or 8 years now. I disabled it for a few years and then reinstalled it a year ago after getting my first wifi device. I had only one problem, recently I had to reset because my wifi was very slow. Shutting down and restarting increased my download speed (apeedtest.net iPad app) from 0.5MB to 3-6MB.
