I didn't like the installation. It snaps into place, but isn't as polished as we'd like. The noise under the hook might startle you when you're not expecting it. The CARB EO sticker is missing on the packaging. So now I have to figure out how to get one.

Nice sound. I'm not sure about the mileage yet. The instructions could have been clearer, but UTube saved the day. The 1/2" hose from the air intake to the crankcase does not fit. The intake is designed for 5/8" on my 2016 Rubicon. You need to get creative and use part of the existing tubing. Much luck!

I installed this K&N 71 Blackhawk on my 2013 JK Unlimited 3.6L with the throttle body spacer and it fits perfectly! I'd recommend watching a few YouTube videos first before it pops up if you're unfamiliar with the installation. The instructions don't tell you which fasteners and washers to use, but figuring out which ones to use and where is easy.

This is one of the best Jeep snorkels on the market. I did a lot of research before buying and am very happy with it. Installation is not as easy as everyone else. Appearance is excellent and at the same time not so complex. If you can see the coolant temperature somehow, you may notice a noticeable drop in temperature. Like many Jeep owners, I'm not always in deep water, so the big test is yet to come.

I read some reviews before buying, some positive and some negative. I have to say I'm glad I bought it! Now the installation took about an hour and fifteen minutes, and that's only because I had to constantly refer to the diagram to make sure I was using the right washers, bolts, and locknuts in the right places. Should have spent a little more on a better air intake design. The design is a bit imperfect for the amount of money being spent on this air intake. The hardest part of the installation was trying to align the screws on the heat shield cover, specifically the screw that connects the rubber grommet to the center of the cover. I was expecting to feel a lot more power, torque, fuel economy and at least a growl when I hit the gas, but none of that happened, or at least it could have been so minimal

Failed to load media. So it's a decent setup and not too difficult to install. Took me about 5 hours just because it was my first time and I had to go to the store and buy liquid sealant. The only issue I've had is that the foam plug keeps being sucked back into the filter housing when I push hard on the gas. I ended up screwing some screws into part of the hole to keep it from backing out. The tube cross-section is more restricted than the factory side. I also missed the bracket that secures…
