For the money I paid I should have received a complete product, I am missing screws and fittings. I'm not happy with that.....not a good experience.

It was a bit fiddly getting to my 2001 S10 Xtreme but so far so great. I'm a shade tree mechanic and will have this on my truck in about 3 hours with no rush. This adds a nice sound to the air intake when you put your foot in. It seems to add some mileage, but I haven't taken any actual measurements.

a trusted name and for good reason these kits may seem a little pricey at first but in the long run you will save money on fuel costs not to mention the rush to wake up the engine and hearing that growl that makes it breathe is worth every penny in my opinion, just to warn you that your car might surprise you once it's installed. The throttle response is eye-opening, to say the least

Part attached to carburetor did not match factory bolts. One of the supplied adapter nuts was too short and the rubber/silicone adapter was missing. Almost 2 months later, K&N still hasn't replaced the parts, so from the carburetor to the mass airflow sensor it's pretty much useless. MAS for filtering is fine. I will not order another set of this type.

No increase in horsepower or increase in fuel economy per gallon, but most car enthusiasts know they can't expect any benefits from intake alone. However, my truck had one of those crappy $30 air intakes that would shake while driving, so it was a big upgrade and it looks way better. improve appearance. Now if you were to port and full exhaust you would definitely notice the difference.

This FIPK is a great kit. You'll have to play around with the clamps a bit to get them just right. The ones that connect the cover to the throttle body are the most difficult. The instructions were there. I'd say I got 1-1.5mpg with it. Then I bet 31 on the truck and the win was gone! When you combine this with a Flowmaster 40 with one input and two outputs the sound is fantastic. I can't say I've noticed a performance boost with this shot, but I don't drive my truck too hard. You will not find

Really good product. I can definitely tell the difference in performance and sound. I haven't seen a significant improvement in fuel economy, but this will act as a catalyst when added to the car. The only negative is that I bought "used" from Revain and they forgot the main component. I think I had to make sure all the parts were in the box before disassembling my OEM. I ended up wasting an extra hour making a part that I forgot to put in the box. That doesn't make the system bad though…
