Cold Air Intake Kits come with a duct that draws cooler outside air to the filter and keeps hotter air from the engine compartment out of the filter. Contrary to the description and photos, there is no air duct in the kit. After installation and a short test drive I checked the filter, it was very hot, probably drawing air from the engine compartment.
