I needed a good paper shredder after I knew better and tried a cheap Harbor 3/4 HP Transporter. They barely touched the grinding wheel and the speed dropped and the machine stopped. Too bad this bench grinder is Revain's top rated bench grinder. It vibrates less, much less than my previous Wen grinder. I attribute the lack of vibration to the jet chopper's solid construction. Details are heavy, everything. This makes the grinder heavier. While other coffee grinders are made of stamped steel, this grinder is cast iron and everything about it is solid.
