Great boards with a little patience

Ive purchased this same 10 pack nearly 20 times now and I have never had a bad board. These are a steal for bulk purchase and will be great for any project. fyi, you will need to try different bootloaders in the ide to make it work the first time depending on your software version, and you may need to download the CH134 board driver, just Google Nano driver and it'll come right up.

Pros
  • The module's built-in LED light provides visual feedback and makes it easy to troubleshoot and debug your code
Cons
  • The product may not have enough power input options, limiting its potential for certain projects

In 2021 it uploads code like an Uno

Works like an Uno in December 2021 on my configuration: Macbook Air, Big Sur OS 11.6.1, Arduino IDE 1.8.15. No special tricks needed.* Connect with a Mini USB cable. The Mac recognized the CH340 USB interface. No need to download a driver.* Set the IDE to target an Uno. Click the Upload arrow to compile and upload code.* There was NO NEED to select "Old Bootloader", even though some older reviews talk about doing that. A modern Uno bootloader appears to have come installed on the device I…

Cons
  • The product may be difficult to solder or assemble, requiring additional tools and expertise

Works great, best price.

I've order these twice, work very well, and haven't had any fail. Ships fast, and arrives in good condition. Only issue, is having to solder the header pins, wish I had some kids in the house to exploit for that. I understand that leaving it up to the buyer, makes it more versatile. You can choose the pins, or sockets, even hardwired. Seem fairly robust as well, abused a few, a little, and still worked out great. Will order more in a few months, been running through them quick, for the price…

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • The USB cable included with the product may not be of the best quality and may need to be replaced

You can't load software

I don't care if there is a fix for this. an arduino you plug in and it should wORk These don't DO NOT BUY The product may not have enough onboard resources, requiring additional components to be added for complex projects!

Cons
  • The product may not have enough onboard resources, requiring additional components to be added for complex projects

Bootloader was confusing

They should add some instructions for setting up the IDE. I downloaded the Arduino IDE 1.8.7. Then to configure the IDE:Tools.Board.Arduino NanoTools.Processor.AtMega328P(Old Bootloader)Tools.Port ComXX -> See comments below if it doesn't show the port you that you expect.Compile your sketch. Press the reset button in the middle of the board then quickly hit the upload button on the IDE.Serial ports. Windows 7 automatically downloaded the CH340 drivers. The board doesn't have the usually found…

Pros
  • Have not had a real chance of using them yet however everything looks great
Cons
  • The product may not have enough memory or processing power to handle complex projects

Great product, worked as expected

All 10 of the boards came neatly packed in individual anti-static bags along with headers that can be soldered on. Note that as shipped you cannot just plug into a breadboard; soldering the headers on first would be necessary.I tested all boards with a test flash of the Arduin Blink software slightly modified to give a distinct flash interval (so I knew it was my flash). All boards tested successfully without any problems whatsoever.

Pros
  • Difficult to program using a mac, but otherwise AWESOME
Cons
  • The product may be difficult to find replacement parts for, leading to issues with maintenance and repairs

Quality joystick and nice selection of buttons

Nice quality joystick, easily adjustable and worked great in my Ms PacMan. Nice selection of buttons, including 1P and 2P. Would work well in a multicade or mame cabinet.

Pros
  • The module's compact and modular design makes it perfect for embedding in various devices and machines, providing enhanced functionality and automation capabilities
Cons
  • The product may not be able to handle high-voltage environments, leading to issues with safety and operation

New model uses standard bootloader!

As of Feb 2019 I used this for a project I was working on and was trying to use the typical setup with Arduino Nano for the board and the Old Bootloader. It did not work, I used an older Nano check that my USB cable was working and the older Nano uploaded code just fine. I was convinced the cheap Nanos were bad, but for giggles switched my setup to use the regular bootloader and they loaded just fine with the normal (not old) bootloader. Pleasant surprise for me! Good product with excellent…

Pros
  • The 5Pcs Longruner module is compatible with a variety of Arduino shields, sensors, and other accessories, providing endless possibilities for new projects and ideas
Cons
  • The product may not have a clear or concise user manual, making it difficult to use for beginners

"with USB Cable* " - *USB Cable not included.

"with USB Cable" is a lie. They don't come with a USB cable, so now I've got to hope I can find a cable that fits this somewhere in order to even use it.

Pros
  • 4 Of 5 worked, 1 lit up but wouldn't connect to my pc.
Cons
  • The product may take longer to ship than expected, leading to delays in project completion

I am quite happy with them

I just received these, and tested each board right-off. All of them function as expected with the pre-loaded L-Flasher routine, and accept a routine that I'm currently developing. Absolutely small-enough to fit inside of a standard PS/2 Keyboard, to finish-off another of my projects (a plus being that the pin headers were not already soldered onto the boards--keep supplying them with the pin headers loose, Longruner!).I am quite happy with them, and will be ordering more to avoid etching PC…

Pros
  • The module's small size and low power consumption make it the perfect choice for wearable technology and other portable applications
Cons
  • The product may not be able to support high-performance applications, leading to issues with speed and efficiency

Waste of time and money pretty much useless

None would connect to the IDE. Even after updating to the CH340G drivers on Mac or PC. It was obvious the blink sketch is working. I even tried to flash them with a boot loader. Still nothing.

Pros
  • The 5Pcs Longruner Arduino Mini Nano V3.0 ATmega328P Micro Controller Board Module provides a compact and efficient way to power your Arduino projects
Cons
  • The product may have a limited range of programming tools, making it inefficient to work with

Awesome little kit best in my review

Awesome little kit. It works out to five for the price of one. I've been able to use these in little gift projects for people. They're very, very easy to work with, and the measurements are very consistent so I've been able to print out the same 3D printed case I designed several times without issue.

Pros
  • Nice little boards for smaller projects. You can load up the IO with quite a bit of stuff.
Cons
  • The product may not be compatible with some versions of Arduino IDE, leading to compatibility issues

Fantastic deal on high quality generic Arduino Nano boards

I've purchased a couple 5-packs of these boards. I've used 7 of the boards so far, and all have worked flawlessly. The price is very competitive, and build quality is great. So far, I've soldered the included header pins on to each of the boards I've used, but I have an upcoming project where I am seriously considering soldering wires directly into the board to simplify the build. The CH340 serial chip has worked well for me on Windows 10 and Mac OSX. Planning on buying more of this board for…

Pros
  • Small cheap micro controllers for your projects.
Cons
  • The product may be prone to electromagnetic interference, leading to issues with performance

Exactly as advertised

Great product that functions exactly as advertised. Using this product in various applications around the house. Created animated 3D prints for gifts; controlling LEDs in sensors, created a garage door position sensor with Green/Red LED.

Pros
  • It works! Yes, recommended.
Cons
  • 3 out of 5 boards are faulty. The boards heat up with funky smell as soon as powered on!

All 10 Nanos failed

How frustrating to get a pack of Nanos and have all of them fail. Was unable to load code. This knock-off was not of any value.

Pros
  • The product's low cost and versatility make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications, from industrial automation to home automation, robotics, and more
Cons
  • The product may have a limited lifespan, leading to issues with longevity and durability

MAKE SURE TO READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY

I assumed, yes my fault, that these were pre-soldered, based on the main photo. This photo is misleading, you need to soldered them yourself.

Pros
  • The product's well-designed documentation and customer support ensure that users can easily get started and use the product to its full potential
Cons
  • The product may not have enough memory to store large amounts of data, leading to issues with storage management

Amazing price, super good

Those are great! I used to wire my own ATmega328P, but it just doesn't make sense when we can get this board at such prices (except if battery powered).

  • The 5Pcs Longruner module is designed to be easily assembled and disassembled, making it a great choice for DIY projects and prototyping
Cons
  • The product may not be user-friendly for those without advanced electronics or programming skills

For $5 it is a great I/O board

The Nano is a full scale computer with the same pinouts as the UNO. I plan to use it as a serial I/O pakage with 14 digital inputs or outputs plus 8 analog inputs. The nano has 512 bytes of internal memory. Software is available on line. A single 6 pin flat cable is all that is needed to connect. Pins are max rated at 0.040 amps. Its nice that connector pins are included but you have to solder the pins. There is a non standard USB connection available and I have yet to find a cable. Price is…

Pros
  • Works as expected. Came nicely packaged.
Cons
  • The product may have a limited number of input and output pins, limiting its functionality

Cannot upload sketch/hex

Description pretty much says it all. I could not get sketches/hexes will to deploy onto these boards, making them rather useless.

Pros
  • The product offers a wide range of compatibility with different operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and MacOS, ensuring seamless integration and ease of use
Cons
  • The product may not have a reliable power supply, leading to issues with stability and function

Good Quality - GREAT value!

Received all x10 of them and every single one of them works! GREAT packaging. individually sealed in anti static bags and includes all the headers. You can see they tested them at the factory since the all had the "blinky" code already flashed.ALL of them worked! SUPER great value for money!

Pros
  • The module's onboard EEPROM ensures that your code and settings remain safe and secure, even if power is lost or the module is disconnected
Cons
  • The product may not have enough onboard hardware or software tools, requiring additional components to be added
