I was repairing a fan motor in the attic, it got stuck when the animals tried to get into the attic. When soldering this fuse, be careful to protect the part from the heatsink. I used large hemostatic tweezers which took out most of the soldering heat!

A 20-year-old Galaxy fan suddenly stopped working after a few weeks of operation in the summer. I found that the thermal fuse in the motor had blown. The motor windings didn't look burnt so it looked like they could be repaired. I found these fuses that had the exact same physical dimensions and exact P/N markings as the old fuse, so I ordered them. I put 1 new fuse in and reassembled the fan and it worked again.
