A lot broke, seems like I got a fake pack

1 was broken upon delivery, two others broke within the first 10 minuets of play. Another one lasted like 4-6 times playing before it broke (1hr+ ea time) havent really used other two. Also Another person had these "same balls" however there's were much brighter like the picture and mine were. well not. His also seemed heavier

Pros
  • Was wanting yellow, even thought i had read they were yellow to find out they were orange.
Cons
  • May be too expensive for some budgets

Very disappointed in the quality

These were very disappointing. I bought these because I thought Stiga would be higher quality. One ball is severely out of balance and wobbles like crazy. You can see it they way the ball flies through the air or even if you just try to spin it on a table. Another ball was cracked along the seem within minutes. The rest were ok although none seemed to have the balance that you would expect from Stiga and a 3 star ball. I bought these next and was much happier: Xushaofa 40+ Seamless Poly Table…

Pros
  • These balls are approved for championship-level play
Cons
  • May not meet certain professional standards

Works Better for my opinion

We recently started the Ping pong league in the Office. Every day we are going to paly for 1 Hour in the Office. We tried multiple types of the Ball and Stars. These 3 Star balls are works great. Able to get lot of bounce and Spin.

Pros
  • They are perfect
Cons
  • May not be as consistent as other brands

Great quality/price, but might not be what you're looking for!

A bit of background: I'm a table tennis player who competes on a college team. I've been playing actively for over twelve years now.First of all, these STIGA table tennis balls are amazing for the price. These aren't cheap, flimsy ping pong balls you would use for beer pong; they're made specifically to play table tennis. That means that the diameter measures exactly 40mm in length, and weighs in at around 2.7grams. I've found these balls to be very consistent with balls used in tournaments…

Pros
  • It's three star balls as expected, but these are the least durable balls I've ever tried.
Cons
  • May require a specific type of table for optimal use

Higher quality balls and very visible

I only play with orange balls now, much easier to see in my not so lit garage. These are also the kids favorites. You cannot see the seam which is to be expected on a 3 star ball. They are plenty gripy so very nice to play with.I do not play in the olympics so I cannot tell how high end these ones are :-)My opinion, a great set of table tennis balls if you are looking for a high quality one (a bit expensive though).

Pros
  • These balls are perfect for training and practicing new techniques
Cons
  • May not be suitable for doubles play

Good quality product

Good quality product. I have used one package of it and this is the 2nd package (congaing 6 balls).it bounds well. and I like it.

Pros
  • They hold up well in high-intensity matches
Cons
  • May not offer the same level of control as other models

Stiga 3-Star > Joola 3-Star

I loved playing with these. Right out of the box, they are very well conditioned with great grip. I have rather cheap paddles and these balls had tighter spin and better grip than the Joola 3-Star balls that I purchased with these. I want to make one thing clear though that I was unaware of when I bought these; For messing around and practicing (which is what my friends and I do), save yourself some money and get the Stiga 1-Star balls. They are just as durable and provide just as much fun. If…

Pros
  • Sports
Cons
  • May require special care and maintenance

You get what you pay for, 3 star balls over 1 star balls.

Can clearly tell the difference between 1 star balls and 3 star balls. We have about a dozen 1 star balls here in the office and a single 3 star ball. I decided to purchase a six pack of 3 star balls and everyone loves me for it. Well worth the $6.

Pros
  • Just as expected. Hit nicely
Cons
  • Prone to becoming scratched or damaged

Good everyday ball!

Good balls for family and friends. Would not use them for tournament or competition. Balls seem to be slightly out of round/balance.Could have been part of the deflate-gate conspiricy.Price was good. Delivery was excellent.

Pros
  • A bit on the expensive side but very worth it
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor use

So. I ordered a six-pack of these Stiga 3-star orange table tennis balls, and I received a pack with 6 orange table tennis balls in it, as expected. What I didn't expect, though, was that the package would arrive cut open, just wide enough to take any amount of balls out of the package and put them (or replacements) back in. I don't believe this happened in shipping, as the 6-pack was in an Revain box with 2 other items, which arrived seemingly unmolested. So there's the mystery. Why was the…

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other models

Not too good on the spin!

Given the well known name of Stiga, I expected more! The ball dynamics are fine (does not take weird path when hit straight), however it feels too hard, like it is covered with a metal shell! this is not good for spin! the ball does not respond well to high spin (I have Killerspin paddle which is known for the great spin, however this ball does not respond well to it)For straight shots or not too much spin the ball will do fine. Comparing this head to head with butterfly, butterfly will win for

Pros
  • The pack of six makes them a cost-effective option compared to buying individual balls
Cons
  • May not be as easy to handle as other models

Great balls: my feedback

These balls play similar to the 3-star butterfly balls. Played with one ball for 2 hours today with many smashes and its still holding up. The exterior of the ball feels slightly rough compared to the butterfly - I think this helps with spin. No complaints - would buy again.Just an update - these balls last much longer than Butterfly - still no regrets !

Pros
  • The pack of six ensures that you always have extra balls on hand for those intense matches
Cons
  • May not be as smooth as other models

They work fine but are the better than generic?

There is nothing really wrong with these but they don't really seem any better than the "no star" balls that came with my table tennis table. I was expecting a more lively ball and I also thought it would be seamless. This ball has a very visible seam.I did a quick bounce test with these compared to the generic balls I have and there was no difference. Also when playing I noticed no difference at all related to spin or response. I'll admit though that I am no table tennis pro but I…

Pros
  • They have excellent playability and make the game more fun
Cons
  • May not provide enough bounce to satisfy certain players

Cat toy heaven on my review.

We discovered in moving and finding an old ping pong ball that it was a favorite chase&toss toy for our cat (who doesn't like much unless you can toss it).BUT it was always disappearing quickly under, behind, in something. And, I needed MORE. I was delighted to find that ping pong balls come it bright & easy to find colors - cat doesn't appreciate tat aspect but the increase in #'s was good.

Pros
  • Leisure Sports & Game Room
Cons
  • May not be suitable for indoor play

Best. Balls. Ever. on my review.

I ordered my balls with the hopes that my game would improve. I cannot express to you how big the improvement was. They have impeccable feeling when lobbing them quickly at my opponents and the elasticity of the material blows my mind. The injection of these balls into play have been amazing. I highly recommend buying these for personal use or public play.

Pros
  • These STIGA 3 Star Table Tennis Balls are perfect for professional or recreational use
Cons
  • May not be as responsive as other brands

Excellent PingPong Balls

I use STIGA40+ Balls to practice with my son. These balls are extremely consistent in bounce and movement as compared to other brands. Both my game and my son's game has improved a lot by practicing with these balls.

Pros
  • These balls are suitable for all ages and skill levels
Cons
  • May not be consistent enough for high-level players

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good standard 3* ball

This is a good 40mm 3* ball. The orange helps the contrast on the tables. They last a while and I have had not had any problems with them breaking (other than a heavy foot at times, not me though).I have tried several other balls and some are slightly better but these are a decent price and you get them quick!

Pros
  • The balls are easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • May not offer the same level of speed as other balls

Wow, these balls are good!

I made a purchase on Revain the other day, and I had the opportunity to add on these 3-Star ping pong balls for about $4.99. We play enough ping pong to understand the difference between 1-pointers, 2-pointers, etc., and we always use 3-pointers. My son and I tried these new balls tonight, and they have a true bounce and a great feel. He liked how easy it was to put spin on them, and I liked how well they traveled when slamming, staying low and fast on the table. We will continue to buy Stiga…

Pros
  • What can I say...they work.
Cons
  • May not live up to expectations

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Can't go wrong in my review

The only ball I play with. Recreational but daily about four games against a opponent with matching skills, so the ball still can get a beating. They perform well and take a beating well.

Pros
  • STIGA – Since 1944, STIGA has been the innovative leader in table tennis equipment. STIGA combines superior craftsmanship with exceptional performance in every product. The highest quality equipment for all, from amateur to pro. That’s the STIGA heritage.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for fast-paced games

Great for competitive play

If you play much at all you can really tell a difference in the 3-star vs. the 1-star balls. Our local stores stopped selling these so we ordered online and they are just as expected. If you have your own paddle or play more than about once a week you should have these balls.

Pros
  • Good for decent players
Cons
  • May not bounce evenly
