The first device purchased arrived damaged, the replacement device was defective.

The first unit I received was damaged when it arrived. The seller was happy to send a replacement. The second device arrived and was installed. Unfortunately, the bowl drain would not close and was leaking, allowing air into the fuel line, causing it to constantly lose its charge and the engine to repeatedly stall (lack of fuel). It was not apparent that the seal was damaged until the filter was installed and fuel was flowing through it. I had to collect parts from the old block to make it work

Chinese Junk Not Racor

DO NOT BUY. Warning! I bought 2 of these, thought they were Racor. Installed in April and made several trips to sea on this last voyage. Run the boat in the water and one engine stalled when I checked the fuel balloon, the cock on the bottom fell to the bottom of the boat while I was fiddling with it, the other engine stalled. without fuel. Fuel ran out of the faucet. After the study, the O-rings in the faucet melted. I don't use ethynol as fuel. O-rings must not be designed for fuel. Thankโ€ฆ

Leaking fuel connections due to poor quality and poor fit NPT

Screwed pipe connections and plugs sit very loosely during processing due to the conical fit of the pipe in the body. Constantly leaking fuel, even with teflon coating and fully tightened in the housing. DANGEROUS! You can tell the fittings are of poor quality because they have the thinnest wall I have ever seen on a brass fuel fitting. Very cheap imported fake OEM parts. This part and all other products from this manufacturer must be removed by Revain. Aftermarket parts should be as similar as

They look like Parker Racor filters in the photo but are NOT

One came with a broken drain valve and it's not a Parker Racor filter. The description at the top of the product page you open says "Yamaha Racor Sierra Engine, 10 Micron" which suggests they are Racor filters. The filters look like they are Parker Racor as they look exactly the same (minus the Parker Racor logo), same printing, same SKU numbers. If you read the fine print in the detailed description it also says "PLEASE NOTE - this is a diesel/water separator, it cannot be a petrol/waterโ€ฆ
