OSTER 6640-NP1 10-Speed White Blender with 48 Ounce Plastic Jar Review

I am very happy with this blender. I like a plastic container because it's lighter than glass, making it easier to hold and clean. And the container is easy to wash out. It's great for blending, blending, etc. I haven't tried it crushing ice, but I've used it for milder dishes like pureed soups, making smoothies, etc. It's been almost 3 months now with no complaints. He does everything I need.

I bought an OSTER 6640 ampndash NP1 10 speed blender with a plastic jug for my mum. She hesitated to place an order with Revane. Luckily I persuaded her. The blade and pommel were missing from the first order, but Revane fixed it. The second blender didn't catch the moving teeth, so sometimes it didn't blend. Unfortunately, my mom went to Brick and Motor to buy her blender. Not oyster. I didn't return the second blender, it went into the trash can.

Received product that was lighter than expected. My other Oster has a solid base with a thick glass jug. The lid on top was very tight and had a spout for pouring.The blade was hard and when inserted into the base it was taut too.The new oster has a very thin lid which I have to hold onto to keep it from falling off and there is no pouring spout.The pitcher is plastic.
