My A5 was about to have its service interval. I've always bought drop-in filters and chose this one. Pretty simple build. Instructions with pictures. cool sound Almost like a cow. Nearly. The only downside for me was that one of the screws wasn't tight. Nothing bad, but a bit annoying.

Nothing fits so far, the screw on the underside doesn't even hold on the frame. Truth. The metal vent can't even connect it to the existing vent, so the air now only comes from the engine (hot). Terrible design. The only reason I gave it a 2 is because I like the new sound. Terrible design, like I said before. can bring it back

WILL NOT FIT 2015 AUDI A6 2.0T SO INCLUDED IN DESCRIPTION AND MANUAL! I spent 4 long hours installing this thing only to find out it didn't fit as I had to remove the entire stock airbox housing and tweak the entire air intake to see if it fit or not. According to the instructions, the headlight bracket, which is missing on the Audi A6 2.0T 2015, should be screwed to the side of the heat shield. Such a disappointment! Excellent performance and sound. However, installing a secondary air intake on a regular air duct is small. There is a gap. A screw from the k&n air intake to the heat shield didn't fit, I had to go to the garage to find a replacement screw. The way the product is constructed puts some strain on the sensor wire as you have to get it all the way to the assembly.

Expected more from K&N. I have CAI on my 2014 RAM 1500 so I bought the same brand for my 2015 Audi A4. Installation on them is not difficult, but everything was not very good. The worst part was the voltage at the mass air flow sensor connector. It was so much stress that it actually broke my MAF sensor tab, resulting in me having to buy a new MAF sensor. That was the worst $200 I've ever spent on my car. I want my money back and back in stock.

If you're looking for pure turbo noise, this will do. You can hear the turbo coil and the "bubbles". The instructions were ok and sufficient for installation. I would have expected more from a K&N setup. Some parts didn't fit together properly. Not all the necessary screws for installation were included. One screw that was not included was the M5, which is a rather uncommon screw for the average consumer. My mileage has decreased by about 3 mpg. But I am not sure if this is due to consumption…
