Noisy discs, definitely not enterprise class

Instead of White Label, which is usually a refurbished/refurbished disc from a major manufacturer, I got "MaxDigital" discs. They have their own serial number format unlike the big three or four disc manufacturers. They're noisy, and detachable SATA cables don't securely fit SATA connectors. In this case, all three drives are working properly. These are definitely NOT enterprise class drives.

Best Inexpensive Internal Hard Drive

If you need an inexpensive 3.5" SATA hard drive with decent storage but aren't concerned about performance, this drive will tick all the boxes. I wish there was more storage, but once you get past 4TB the price starts to go up. This drive is the best value for money (at the time of writing this review). However, I wouldn't call this drive reliable. It feels pretty light compared to some of the 6TB NAS drives I've used.

Funny quality disc refurbished

The disc came with a white sticker that did not match the product description. My hard drive test software identifies it as Hitachi HUS724040ALE641. Obviously it's some kind of updated disc, but you won't be informed about it! I bought 2 of these and one broke after 4 days. The partition table messed up and said it was a 4875GB drive with 5 partitions, each a weird size. It should be a 4000GB drive with a primary partition. It was noisy when the spindle started moving and very hot while…

Short Life - Internal Hard Drives

I bought 4 of these with my Synology NAS in April 2019. The NAS ordered was fairly new and only shipped in August. After it arrived I put in the discs and set it up. The next morning, the NAS reported a drive error in the raid array. Run internal disk utilities on each of the drives and run CrystalDiskInfo on the drive that reported errors. I ran the Paragon HD Toolkit and found nothing. Put it back in the drive and rebuild the array - it took 6 days for the drive in question to become audible…

First impression - time will tell

I ordered one at first because I was very skeptical, 4TB for less than $70? I received the drive promptly (same day), it was packaged like every other drive I received, in fact it was packaged in a Western Digital hard drive box which turned out to be the wrong way around, but it was very well packaged in hard drive cases and an anti-static bag. Inserted the drive into my HD document, it was recognized immediately and ready to be formatted, by the way it showed up as a Hitachi branded drive and
