Ford Edge 2011 3.5 " Filter

2011 Ford Edge 3.5. Installs easily. The sound is a bit like a rice burner that sounds even in the V6 at full throttle. I noticed a quicker throttle response but wasn't sure about the performance. If I could stay off the gas I could see what the mpg is. Now it's even worse.

Like it but don't like it.

Ok it was easy to install with great instructions, I used it for about 250 miles before posting this review because I wanted it to be accurate. I get about 1 mpg better gas mileage and no noticeable increase in horsepower. It's a lot louder and my V6 Ford Edge sounds like a V8 but almost too loud.

Big. No one will know you've upgraded until you take the difficult step.

You won't notice the difference until you ride hard or put it in sport mode. I have a 3.7 liter engine and have noticed a boost mostly at 2500rpm and then it really growls from 6 to 7200. You will spin the AWD tires when you go to 3 in 1 and then just step on it with oars. I don't like how the ECU limits it to 135. I was fifth and drove a lot. As for normal driving, I get 19 standard instead of 17.5-18 mpg. So there's a reason to go with the 3.5, but don't expect the kind of performance…

The K&N intake is great, but you need to tune your car to make it work properly!

Great air intake, this is K&N and they make a great product! However, I strongly recommend that if you add an air intake to your engine, you get a tune from Torrey. in unleashed tuning. torrie@unleashedtuning.com Adding the air intake caused some lag and gear changes. However, the tune has eliminated all of those issues and the car drives like a completely different car, in a good way. Just "tune" on YouTube and you'll see some examples of what a tune can do for you. All you need to do is order
