We enjoy the teapot and knowing how to keep water out of it when not in use is a good complement to knowing it will last longer.

The teapot is great, but the color is more yellow than white. In my opinion. I wanted to return it but couldn't print the return label. I don't understand why you can't attach a return slip to an order. Thanks Sue

Advertised as White. It's OIL paint! It's light YELLOW! There is a big difference between pale yellow and off-white. I can't use a light yellow teapot. It is extremely difficult to return. Too many directions. I haven't received my invoice yet, but I hope I didn't pay the shipping costs. I'm pretty sure I'll have to pay postage for the return, which isn't really fair either.

Was a bit worried the kettle wouldn't whistle based on the reviews here but no problem the kettle has a whistle which is easy to hear. Other features I like: it's heavy and durable, the lid comes off easily yet fits snugly on the kettle, the top of the spout lifts up easily for pouring, the handle feels good in your hand, and the design is attractive . I have seen some reviews that the kettle does not whistle and others claim that it does. Given the price, I decided to take a risk. It whistled the very first time we used it and never whistled after that. It's hard to determine why. It is possible that the plastic is bent after the initial heating, causing the whistle to become misaligned. (?)
