Description of 📸 7artisans 55mm F1.4 II V2.0 Portrait Lens: M4/3-mount Mirrorless Camera Compatibility for GM1, GM5, GX1, GX7, GX8, and More

M4/3 Mount Lens: The 7artisnas 55mm F1.4 Portrait-length lens is designed for APS-C-format M4/3-mount mirrorless cameras and offers an 110mm equivalent focal length. Durable, Compact & Portable: Full-metal body only weighs 358g. Anodizing coloring design, which enhances the lens anti-corrosion, an-dirt functions, and its varnish not easy to removed. Aviation aluminum lens mount & electroplated tungsten steel color, which is resistant to abrasion and corrosion. Ideal Aperture: Its optical system consists of 6 elements in 5 groups. Bright f/1.4 maximum aperture benefits working with shallow depth of field and selective focus techniques, and also suits photographing in low-light conditions. A 9-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality. Multi-layer Coating: The multi-layer coating has been applied to individual elements and reduces flare and ghosting in order to produce greater contrast and color accuracy when working in strong lighting conditions. Manual Focus: Manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 42cm. Depth of field and distance scales aid pre-focusing and zone focusing techniques.

Beautiful Bokeh Best Lenses

I bought this lens because I'm just getting into photography and didn't want to spend thousands on a camera lens that suits my needs. I just wanted a lens with good bokeh that gets it right, I love the quality of the lens itself and the images it takes and I only have an Olympus OMD EM1, the manual focus is very smooth and easy to use , I recommend it

Pros
  • Manual Focus: Manual focus design allows you to focus on subjects up to 42cm away Depth and distance scales help with pre and area focusing.
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Good features but difficult to shoot from a distance

This lens allows you to shoot from a distance in the late evening and at night. It can also be a good portrait lens. Apparently the 7 craftsmen intended it for a portrait lens, because the focus scale shrinks when trying to take a picture from 5 meters to infinity. Even with good focus on the camera body, the adhesive mechanism makes it difficult to focus on distant subjects. It seems like a good lens with decent optical performance for $119.99. Chromatic aberration does show up a bit, but…

Pros
  • M4/3 mount lens: The 7artisnas 55mm F1.4 portrait lens is designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras with M4/3 mount and has a focal length of 110mm .
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Very smooth ring control but depth of field is razor thin.

Received the lens today. My first impression: The ring controls are silky smooth. I compare it to another lens I own, the SLR Magic 25mm cine lens, which has much more drag in the control ring. And of course, every vintage lens I've used has a lot more drag in the focus and aperture rings. However, this lens felt incredibly smooth the moment I took it out of the box. I put it on my Blackmagic Pocket 4K and I have to say the bokeh is beautiful. However, it is difficult to get this ultra-fine…

Pros
  • Ideal opening: The optical system consists of 6 elements in 5 groups. The bright maximum aperture of f/1.4 enables shallow depth of field and selective focus techniques, and is also suitable for shooting in low light conditions. The 9-blade aperture contributes to a pleasant bokeh quality.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
