Absolutely in love with these knee pads. I bought these to replace my much bulkier knee and shin pads. I love that they cover most of your calf, which is important when I'm flat pedaling. Pillows are comfortable but the mesh on the back is too thin - it broke on the first ride. Nothing out of the ordinary happened with mountain biking - I didn't fall - and things like poles and other things hitting my feet had to be considered when designing the pad.
