Fast delivery but lids are loose and easy to remove. At least 3 or more of my 12 were damaged or badly formed and were found to be misshapen during the packaging process. Appearance is important when making candles so I will keep them for myself and have to order better quality jars from another supplier.

This is for candles, even the packaging I received says it. As such, they are not water or airtight and cannot be "food safe". Do not use them for these purposes. However, they are good for storing small items and are quite cheap. There are no strange smells when degassing and the quality seems to be stable. This is a simple product that gets the job done. I need them to organize small parts and they got the job done!

I was very pleased with the $24.99 8oz 24 metal cans with lids. Of course they went up a dollar to $25.99 and I ordered anyway because they are good cans even though each box would have had at least one dented can. I received a huge candle order of almost 300 candles. Just two days after my last order, I returned to the order and it went up to $26.99. You have become greedy. i will be somewhere else Until then!

Perfect size/diameter for soy based candles with 1/2" wood wick. Will also work with thicker cotton/hemp wicks but thinner wicks may need to be doubled for optimal melting. it's 3 times and so far so good. No dents or scratches despite minimal packaging. I started making and selling inexpensive candles a few months ago and these were the first jars I bought to fill my candles with. They weigh 8 ounces total but comfortably hold about 6 ounces of wax with a suitable wick length. (1/4 inch) and the lid still fits - which fits well. The jars don't get too hot while the candle is burning, which is ideal, and scorching is non-existent or minimal if you position the wick off-center or cover it with a lid to extinguish the flame.
