Broke the first time out

(55lbs thrust model)Broke the first time out after about 10 minutes of use, twist control broke internally and it was stuck in a forward gear, ruined a perfect little fishing day for me and my son. Got ahold of the company through Revain and they offered a $30 refund if I took it to someone and had it fixed. I was told at the time by a Revain cust. svc rep that it had a 90 day warranty but they didn't have any in stock so all I could do was send it back for the credit and buy a different one.

Pros
  • Powerful and easy to use
Cons
  • The 8-speed feature may be unnecessary for some users, unnecessarily increasing the product's cost

Bracket snapped in half during regular use. Very poorly made.

I purchased the U-BC00 8 Speed 86 lb thrust motor. The bracket holding the motor to the transom snapped in half while in regular use. This put my boat in a dangerous situation, and the motor nearly fell into the water. The bracket holding the motor is thin plastic, and it is hard to imagine this is not a common issue with this set up.

Pros
  • Very good trolling motor
Cons
  • bearings in motor out after 12 hours of use can not contact manufacturer at all do not buy

I bought this product in Oct 2020. I used it at most once a week for less than an hour of running time each time. Now only forward speed 2, 4, 5 and reverse speed 3 work. So a 8-speed motor became a 4-speed motor in less than two years. no wonder their warranty is only 90 days. Save your money by staying away from this product.I contacted the manufacture and no help was provided.

Pros
  • Boating
Cons
  • The transom-mounted design may be difficult to install and may not be compatible with all boat types

Smooth Sailing best in my review

Using the unit is fairly easy. The attachment mechanism is strong. With the two bolts on attachment pieces the U-BC00 fits on most aluminum boats. And kayaks if you have an attachment plate. The swivel action allows the user full directional control even at high thrust. Setting the height is easy and can allow 180 degree control.Thrust in a 12 foot aluminum boat, thrust on speed control is fluid. The handle fits the hand and gives a sure grip. When accelerating the 60Lbs is great. 60lb thrust…

Pros
  • So far so good. Slower speeds don’t impress me until you use the 5th speed then it will move you better.
Cons
  • Ya it works but will blow out breaker on highest speed.

It's fine for what it costs

I don't use the trolling motor often, it's more of an emergency back up or real shallow water runner for me. This one pushes my boat (14ft V hull with wood floor) pretty well. It's not the end all of trolling motors, in fact mine came wired backwards (5 reverse speed and 3 forwards), but that was easy enough to resolve. I did have an issue with the mounting bracket and U-BCOO sent a new one without question so I can't complain about that. Just keep in mind this unit is over $100.00 less than a…

Pros
  • Great quality and value.
Cons
  • The motor may require frequent maintenance and repairs, adding to the product's long-term cost

speed control does not work

I took out for the first time at first the controls operated as designated. After running for about 20 minutes I tried to slow down no change in speed I then tried to turn off it would not respond I had to disconnect before I ran into the dock. So now very frustrated now that I have to deal with this brand new motor.

Pros
  • Rub my boat motor
Cons
  • The description says 12 volt but it requires 24 volts

Broken in box TWICE

The first trolling motor collar stripped 5 min out of the box. During use the mount refused to hold the position of the trolling motor at any speed above one. I ordered a replacement with identical results. Both have been returned, Not worth the time, money or frustration

Pros
  • Much more powerful than I had expected --- actually created a wake behind the boat
Cons
  • Motor reasonable, motor mount very flaky, does not hold position.

Needs work. for my opinion

Product is very powerful but motor doesn'tLet you control the speed like advertisementsShould of spent a little more to save the time

Pros
  • great
Cons

Good quality and quick delivery

I was hesitant to buy such a large item online but it arrived in perfect condition. Bought as a present for my son. He installed it on his raft and loves the amount of force it is able to produce.

Pros
  • ‎Stainless Steel, Aluminum
Cons
  • The U-BCOO brand may not be well-known or trusted in the fishing industry, leading to skepticism of the product's quality

Very Disappointed: my feedback

I am very dissatisfied with this product. The 55 lb trolling motor is clearly listed as being 51 inches long. The overall length is only 40 inches long, and therefore, useless for my application. I needed the shaft on the trolling motor to be at least 36 inch long, but unfortunately, it is only 28 inches long. Why do companies find it necessary to falsely advertise their products just to make a sale? It is a waste of time for me and the company, because I now have to return the item and reorder

Pros
  • ‎9.2 Kilograms
Cons
  • The motor may not be durable enough to withstand the elements or the wear and tear of regular fishing use

Not as much power and then it broke

I noticed that it was not as powerful as my last moter with the same thrust. Then after a few weeks of use, something in inside stripped. Now I only have on and off at full speed. Would not recommend

Pros
  • ‎For Salt Water, For Fishing Boats
Cons
  • Its electric power source may limit the motor's range and battery life, requiring frequent recharging or battery replacement

Cancel your order, or don’t buy this motor!

Have to be honest, the motor runs fine, however, the prop seems to be off balance. It vibrates the whole boat . I’ve tried to adjust it, but, it just seems warped, heavy on one side, or the shaft is bent.UPDATE:This motor is junk. The control shaft jumps track and stays wide open. It vibrates at top speed. Whatever you do, don’t buy this motor. It costs too much to ship back, so, I’m screwed for good with this thing.

Pros
  • Trolling Motors
Cons
  • Replacement parts or repairs may be difficult to find, especially if the product is not widely available in stores
