Good buy if you buy several at once. Good silver solder that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. I like it in such small tubes that it fits in my hobby box without any problems.

Works just as easily as a Rat Shack 60/40 and the fumes are less harsh. FWIW, I use a Weller WP35 35W ST-7 conical tip iron. The lead-free stuff needs more heat to spread, so I also use a brass wire "sponge" so I don't lose heat when cleaning the tip.

I was looking for a slightly stronger solder for quick jewelry repairs with a soldering iron. Thanks to the rose core and the small diameter of the wire, it does an excellent job in repairs. This also works with a nice little burner for heating. Highly recommended.

This solder is excellent for small electrical applications. I only used it to solder the speaker wire to the surround terminals. It worked great. It is very thin, making it easy to solder small electrical components. The packaging states that the solder diameter is 0.031 inch (0.75 mm). The total amount of solder listed in the tube is 0.43 oz (12.2 g). Great product, I recommend to everyone
