Worked great!

I was a little worried the powder wouldn't work as well as the liquid I've used in the past, but don't worry. It blended easily and my pants ended up being a very navy blue which is exactly what I wanted. Note: the pants were originally a fairly medium shade of gray and I didn't use anything to try and reduce some of the grey. Just followed the instructions and it worked.

Nice versatile color, you need very little.

I really like this blue dye. It is lighter than dark blue and softer than royal blue. I've dyed many things with it including jeans, pillowcases and a shirt. My friend was given a very expensive coral pink flannel-lined corduroy shirt that reminded her of her mother-in-law and didn't want to wear it. I suggested a repaint. I used 2 ounces. blue denim and the shirt came out in a beautiful boysenberry color. She said it has become her favorite shirt. The new color fixer that I also use is a…

Dark blue and black Rit dye worked better on old jeans

Maybe the two jeans I dyed with two bottles of that color were more worn than the jeans of those who bought that color. He couldn't hide the worn spots. I had to re-dye my jeans using an 8 ounce container each of black and navy blue Rit liquid dye. I also used 8 ounces. a container of Rit ColorStay fixative and these various products were used to cover the abrasions. I did all of this in the washing machine. I pause the machine on the wash cycle for an hour to allow the color and fixer to stay…
