Excellent controllers

I bought and used four of these (two blue, two yellow). They all sync up as four separate controllers via a switch, with the expected four LEDs lighting up correctly for each player. I also only connected them to my PC and Android for testing. There are no problems on Windows 10. worked great. I was also able to connect to my first generation Motorola Zoom tablet and it recognized it (although Android 3 Zoom doesn't recognize all the buttons, but I believe this is an OS issue, not a controller…

  • Expensive but valuable

Must be picked up and played but not for everyone

I bought the thick controller because I collect them and 8bitdo is always of high quality and their firmware updates without problems and they seem to have been supported by 8bitdo for many years too will . In any case, this controller is very unpretentious in what it is useful for. Games like Link Awakening and Pokemon Shield and indie games like Shakedown Hawaii work really well with it since it uses the directional pad as an analog input. It is also very portable and fits in your pocket or…

Reliable travel controller

I use almost 100% official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for almost all kinds of games. This is a solid controller that is worth every penny. But damn it's a bulky beast. And here it comes to the rescue. With a traditional D-Pad acting as a replacement for joysticks, I think it's a solid controller to just go and play with. And even though 8BitDo sells it as an add-on to the Nintendo Switch Lite, I still think it's a decent controller for mainstream Switch gamers, especially when traveling…

Pros
  • that even the elderly can understand
Cons
  • No instructions

Pleasantly surprised by this controller. I was expecting it to be a little uncomfortable to hold, but it's a lot more comfortable than I expected. Paired flawlessly with my Switch Lite in seconds. Works perfectly. I like having two d-pads instead of sticks, some games are easier. The size is small but larger than the NES pad. The yellow is close, but not quite, to my yellow Switch Lite. I would like the "Turbo" button functionality to work with the Switch, but that's a limitation imposed by…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some issues

Not what I expected, worse than I feared.

So it has a nice compact design, handy bag. But the controller isn't what you think it is; it's not a d-pad, certainly not two! D-Pads emulate sticks on a joycon, so you know. interesting concept! How it works? It's not like this. In Super Metroid, when you go from diagonally right-down to left-down, your character will continue to drift to the right. Do this on the Switch Light Panel and it will work as it should; You drift left, not right. So functionally broken. Not to mention that you plan…

Perfect little controller

For a controller small enough to fit in a shirt pocket, the build quality of this thing is superb, which is to be expected from 8bitdo. All the keys are nice and clicky, as are the crosses. Even the L3 and R3 have their own very distinct click once you get used to it. The small R2 and L2 buttons are a bit odd, but not a huge problem once you get used to them. Now let's get to the main reason why this controller is so different and why you may or may not need it. "Can the Dpad replace an analog…

Pocket miracle!

I have experienced joycon drift like everyone else during this challenging time of the year. Everything about this remote was so mesmerizing that I just had to buy it for myself! For the record, I know this controller gets a lot of criticism for parking reasons, but I'm here to tell you guys that defective third-party models from the company are extremely rare! - This remote is wireless, offers 18 hours of battery life on a single full charge, seems almost indestructible(?), connects to both…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
