Great price and works great.

Works perfectly. We use it in our shop and it is used daily. Haven't had any problems so far and for the price you can't beat it. The same "brand" pump is three times more expensive.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Great value on tools and equipment

Works great. The only negative I can say is that the preformed caps don't seal well, but the universal cap that comes with it fits almost anything and works well. I would buy this again. Excellent purchase.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not the best

Bleeding this umbilical before bleeding the brakes

Loved the see through umbilical to bleed before bleeding, didn't like the length or shape of the bellows umbilical and pushed the adapter too hard onto the master cylinder when lifting the car

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Useless features

Works as advertised

I am an experienced professional auto mechanic. I will use this tool often and have used it several times before. The filler is under the handle, which requires the use of a funnel. Otherwise I found a pretty solid piece. I only use one adapter so I'm not sure, but I'm impressed. Good value for money.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Junk on Brake Tools

Great idea, terrible execution. Fragile plastic hose, jammed quick connector, adapters don't fit or the fitting breaks, fluid contamination (!) (probably due to material incompatibility, maybe rubber membrane) etc. etc. to make it work, but not worth the trouble. Just threw it in the trash.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Quantity is ok if you know your limits and are willing to use it too often

Decent but the quality of the pressure vessel but the quality of the adapter leaves something to be desired. The weak point is the quick-change adapter thread for various master cylinder adapters. When trying to tighten the quick release adapter nipples, I broke both universal cone adapters. They just screw into a molded plastic adapter, they don't have threaded inserts like on more expensive devices. This will result in the threads snapping if over tightened. What happened to me.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later

Do not do that! Run out of this trap!

I purchased this item to save myself the hassle of bleeding and bleeding the brake fluid. I read the instructions and assembled it. The first thing I noticed was that those plastic caps didn't seal the top of the master cylinder reservoir well and it was leaking badly, really badly. And when I lowered the pressure to almost zero and started bleeding the rear brakes again, I noticed that the front brakes started leaking more fluid again, the cap came off again. Well the moment I had it installed

Pros
  • Build Quality
Cons
  • Socket Required
