Great for removing camshaft bearings but bad for installing

Excellent tool for removing camshaft bearings. TERRIBLE at installing bearings. This tool damaged two camshaft bearings I was trying to install with it. Also, there are no instructions for use.

Pros
  • Range 1.1-25" to 2.69" (28.58-68.3mm). storage-friendly.
Cons
  • Minor issues

not a good tool for Chevy small block cam bearings

Chevy small block does not hold bearing properly. Pain in the @ss tool. not for Chevy Small Block camshaft bearings. I had to buy another tool and a new set of bearings. It's unlikely that other tool injected them correctly.

Pros
  • Moves camshaft bearings smoothly
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Bad Replica Lisle Cam Bearing Mount

An example of what you pay for. While the photos make this "tool" look like a Lisle 18000 cam bearing tool, which is as close as you can get. This is poor copy and expensive paper. My neighbor bought it after I recommended Lisle as he thought it would save some money. I ended up lending him my Lyle. I actually did a camshaft bearing job for this. It cost him a box of Heineken :)

Pros
  • Includes driveshaft, driveshaft extension, extension assembly, five split plugs, two drive rings, centering cone and blow body.
Cons
  • There are doubts
