Alternative silicone blades to my normal ones, great!

Cannot give 5 stars for the installation as the instructions are a bit unclear. My jeep has a strange mounting system, why can't car manufacturers around the world set ONE standard for mounting wipers? In any case. Once I googled the correct instructions it was pretty easy. Silicone blades work very well, should last longer than standard rubber. 4 stars instead of 5 for ease of installation is really due to the need to chemically pre-treat the windshield. I did not expect this. So if you had to

If you are reading this, BUY these wipers!

UPDATE: Just wanted to share that the cursory part of my previous review was actually the wiper mechanism on my car. I put them back on my car and after a few months of use they're not bad at all. THAT'S GREAT! I was in awe of these wipers and expected them to be elegant and amazing. Boy was I disappointed. They come with a windshield pre-treatment that doesn't last very long. After completing this treatment, you will face serious suffering and possible damage to your car. I keep my car…

Broke within a week. The replacement came within a month.

The first driver's side wiper broke a week after installation (see attached photo). They're made of thin plastic, no thicker than a coin. The seller sent a replacement due to a defect. The replacement lasted just over a month before crashing while driving down the street with the wipers on. These wipers slide in easily but don't snap into place like Bosch Icons do. I thought maybe I didn't install them correctly, but the PIAA installation videos show exactly how I installed them. They just…

Time will tell how good they are

I hope to get at least a year of good service for the prices I have paid for these things. I had never heard of PIAA before until I saw the Revain test for the best wipers. Time will tell if they are as good as they should be and I will report on their performance in the future. For now, wow, they're good. Updated 07/13/19. It's been 3 months and they're still mopping like new in the Houston heat, they're definitely better than the Rain X Latitude brands. Still completely satisfied. I will keep

Obviously these are the best wiper blades I have ever used.

If you had asked me before I started using PIAA wiper blades if there was really a difference between brands, I would have said no. However, these blades are on both of our machines and are amazingly better than any other I've used. Yes they are expensive but the kit we have for our 2014 Mazda has been installed for 5 years and works like new. They're quiet, even if you accidentally turn on the wipers on a dry day, and they always leave the windshield clear when it's raining. They come with a…

Good choice for rainy weather

Fits Toyota Tacoma 2016 I live in the humid part of the Pacific Northwest and use my wipers seven months a year. I've been using silicone wipers for years and have decided on PIAA as the best. The main reason I use silicone is the constant build up of silicone film on the windshield by the windshield wipers, causing raindrops to collect and blow off at speeds over 50km/h. I recently replaced the factory wipers on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma: they were two years old and still worked reasonably well…

Previous version is MUCH better (updated)

***UPDATE****. Windshield wipers creak after a month of use. Other customers complain that their wiper motor burned out. PIAA has no right of return if the wipers are not used. A HUGE waste of fifty dollars. Very dissatisfied with this new model. I will never buy PIAA again. I wish they hadn't changed their old design which was lighter, thinner and worked much better. This new set is rubbish, especially for the money. I bought them for my Mazda3 three years ago and although I wasn't sure at…

Silicone wiper blades are the best as they tend to leave a thin mark.

Silicone wiper blades are the best as they tend to leave a thin film of silicone which I find helps rain bead off the windshield. I've tried RainX and Aquapel and while both seemed to work well, they quickly wore out. Silicone wiper blades constantly reapply this thin film with each use. I had some on a previous car and was thinking of an OEM replacement for my new car as they have not worn out in any way. But after a few rainy days I was convinced that the new regular wipers just weren't as…
