K&N needs to UPDATE the packaging policy of this washable HVAC filter gold serum liquid bottle, I think I was lucky the atomizer cap didn't come loose during shipping as others have reported. You really need to wrap the spray nozzle with waterproof tape to keep it from popping out during transit.

Great filter easy to install. If you want to save money and help the environment, then this filter is for you. However, I would recommend that you purchase (K&N 99-6010 Oven Filter Cleaner, 32 fl oz (pack of 1)) along with it. You can use regular water but it cleans it better and from what I've heard the filter lasts at least 3 times longer than using water. EXCELLENT PURCHASE!

I bought a K&N home air conditioner filter and thought I needed an air purifier which is around $12-15. And indeed, when that bottle is done, you're probably going to use Plain Green or Medium Green, much less expensive. I have used these products in my filters for my trucks and they have never broken the filters like this before. Try it and then decide but I find the price too high but it will last a long time.

K&N cleaner works great, at least the second or third bottle for our home filter. This is the first time I've only received half a bottle. The Revain bubble bag arrived soaking wet and about half the bottle of cleaner was missing. This was the second bottle Revain has sent out for the same order as the first shipment was "missing" (Revain's words and they should have sent me another bottle which only half arrived). This cleaner is a must if your oven has a K&N home air filter. This cleaner is very easy to use and does a great job of cleaning the filter and making it ready for reuse. All you have to do is follow the simple instructions on the bottle, dip the filter spray into the cleaner, then leave for 2-3 minutes, rinse with water and then allow the filter to air dry.
