I actually purchased this same item last year and should have remembered the issue of the bulbs turning brown inside. I trashed last year's purchase because I didn't feel safe with a supposed waterproof bulb turning brown inside. I had to add a trip pin timer that I set then set a pin at 5 hours 45 minutes to shut it off, and set the next 3 minute pin to turn it back on so it would be 'on' for the entire night. They are beautiful when they're on.

These lights were sturdy and bright. Be careful not to to detach the zip-ties, those are there to keep them in the icicle shape. I used the orange and purple settings for Halloween and I hope to use the other colors for Christmas. That being said, the white setting is very blue, there is no "warm white” setting and that’s a little disappointing for me.

If you're planning on keeping these after you put them up they are absolute garbage. The tiny wires break when you take them down they work great one time and thankfully they were cheap so it's just more landfill to me

These are bright and seem sturdy. I decided to get them up before it was too cold. To my unpleasant surprise, not all sets will connect to another. I bought two. One cord has no end connectors while the other has one end with them. Bought 3 strands, one doesn't work. Since these are Christmas lights, the return window should be longer. The 1 strand worked before we hung it up, got it up and now it doesn't work. But then return window had slready closed. So I'm stuck with a crappy strand. The other 2 work fine. The remote only works if you're standing right night to the control box. They look pretty if they work. But beware. Also, the timer should have a 12 hour function, it only has a 6 or 8 hour block.

Being LED lights, these are so bright and look just beautiful. Have to keep the plug/control covered so the lights we wrapped around out tree is in a ziploc baggie to prevent water damage from weather.

I hired a person to put up my lights. It took three sets to cover the front of my house, and product says you can use three strands. I tested each strand first and they all worked. He got them installed, and the middle strand only did the white lights. When it cycled through the colored state, they went dark. The remote failed as well, and only did two of the eleven cycles. One strand did the whole front of our house, they are light and easy to handle perfect for outside or in. Love that you can change them and amazingly compact for storage they look delicate but they are not, a day after we put them up we had tornado weather and they stayed put ! They are super light which will make them very easy to use for dance lighting for events I ordered two more to use for events

I absolutely LOVE these lights and the different settings that you're able to change them to. Nothing the lights can control (maybe?) but the lights hang so low, with wind, they blow up into the gutter. And if you live in a state with cold temps, freezing rain or snow, I would suggest you don't get these. The lights are beautiful, though. Love-Hate for sure.

The ONLY thing that I dislike is that the strings are so light, that a soft wind even blows them up in the gutters. I have to pull them out atleast once a week, other than that. THEY'RE AWESOME!

These are beautiful lights but rather flimsy and easily knot up with any light wind. The functionality is great. I would recommend only if you don't get storms or wind gusts higher than 5mph.

Excellent quality icicle lights that are much longer than big box stores carry. The color was beautiful and there are multiple patterns of twinkling to choose from. We had some winter storms and they did just fine. Not one bulb went out.

These are fantastic icicle Christmas lights that are not only weatherproof, but incredibly long spool to cover an entire house.THE DOWNSIDE IS: The Right after the controller, it FORKS (left and right) for lights. This means it is not in a straight line from the controller - so plan accordingly where you decide to plug it in.

We bought 3 packages of these lights. After 3 weeks all 3 strands stopped working. 1 plug stopped working, 1 connector from the plug to the lights broke and one of the strands of lights broke. The wires are flimsy and easily sever. We were able to piece different parts together from the 3 strands to get 2 full working sets for next year. I previously bought 4 boxes of the extendable version, that's apparently no longer for sale. When I attempted to buy more, it took me to this product and suprisingly these lights are not extendable. If you're not sure what that means, realize this will likely be a problem for you too.
