I was expecting a nice thick shirt. It was thin but soft. How does this help me keep warm? With increasing age, my natural thermal insulation decreases. With this shirt I can work outside in cold weather just above freezing point without a thick jacket. It breathes enough that I don't sweat a lot while working. So light and soft it's invisible like most thermal underwear, but just as effective. I also use it as a base layer when riding a motorcycle in the cold.
