Slim and Fragile TV Ceiling & Wall Mounts

This is a fragile and unstable device. I have to keep my cable box. but he was afraid that he would fall and break something

Definitely not as advertised.

It's really not that strong. I had to drill various holes in it and secure it with real rivets to keep it from sagging. The included anchors are really useless as all I put in is a DVD player. It's a bit pricey and really not worth the $29.

Simple but functional

This is a curved piece of black powder coated sheet metal with cheap drywall anchors. Don't expect much for this price. Exactly what I need (small, very unobtrusive). The first one I received was bent out of shape. The second is slightly bent at the bottom, but acceptable.

Nice shelf for electronics.

I ordered this projector shelf and it works great for this purpose. It is made of medium-gauge steel and has a fairly short edge. I wouldn't put much weight on it if it was attached directly to the drywall. This can easily be fixed by mounting it on a piece of wood and attaching it to the drywall (or to the stud behind it). The two slots on the back of this shelf make it easy to clean cable management and was a main reason I chose this shelf.
