Suitable for selector switch

Teco L510 drive that powers my SouthBend Heavy-10 lathe It works great for 3-wire mode forward/reverse selector switch (along with N/C stop button and N/O start) couldn't be better.

Pros
  • Installation diameter: 22 mm; Suitable board thickness (max.): 6 mm; Overall Size: 40 x 30 x 70 mm / 1.6" x 1.2" x 2.7" (L*W*H)
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Just a really bad design

I have no idea what the designer was thinking when creating the mounting mechanism for this switch. I wouldn't really use it if it was free. Intermittent contact closure on the switch, cheap finish, very smooth actuation and assembly make this an item to be avoided at all costs.

Pros
  • Package Contents: 1 x Rotary Switch; Brand: Assisi; Model: ZB2-BE101C; Main Color: Black, Silver, Brass
Cons
  • I will add later

Feel cheap, are just "OK "

Bought for use in a PLC simulator I'm building. They are alright. They don't really have a satisfying click, and of the two I bought, one has a lot of play. There are no instructions either, although I did figure out how to disassemble them for installation. If they were cheaper it would be a good deal but since buying them I've found that I can get Allen-Bradley and other quality used switches elsewhere for just a little more so I'm doing this now for future projects.

Pros
  • Ith: 10A; Wimp: 600W; AC-15: 240V 3A
Cons
  • Big and chunky
