Tools Required - Custom Sockets

You don't always need a torx set, but when you do, this set will help. Having the right tool for the job always makes it easier, and you won't mess up screw heads by trying to do it with the wrong tool.

Excellent quality! I had to loosen the T50 screw.

Outstanding quality! I had to remove the T50 bolt holding my truck's seat belt. I had a cheap bit that I was trying to use and twisted the end of the bit with a little force. This also held up great with a crowbar and an impact wrench (not recommended).

One of the sockets was not included in my kit

What I didn't like is that when I opened the case I immediately saw a blank space where the p4 tool should have been. Given the odds and Murphy's Law, this would be what I wanted to use, but no luck. All tools must be included in the package. It could have been returned or something other than new.

A skeptical friend told me it was "Made in .

A skeptical friend told me that this made in China product would not last long. I had printhead screws on a '97 Explorer, requires a T55 3/8 Torx drive. I broke two 3/8 drive extensions but the torx was solid and strong. I chose ABN because I believed in their history as an American supplier.

Beware of missing or wrong bits/connectors

My set was shrink wrapped leading me to believe it was brand new. However, instead of some bits, there are Phillips inserts (the attached picture shows a Phillips head instead of a Torx plus 20 - the head is marked TP20 but the bit is wrong). This is strange because there shouldn't be any cross slots in this set. It seems many people have received kits with missing sockets or incorrect sockets/bits. Check your set!

Updated Review: The kit is missing other sized bits and duplicates in their respective slots. At least on the incorrectly labeled size. I'm exchanging mine and hoping they send something valuable this time. First review below. For the money I paid I am very happy with the quality of these torx bits. The only thing that confuses me is that small parts are not fixed in the case. They slide and merge when the set is pressed. Otherwise it's gold.

Affordable price but low quality

The case is made of molded plastic which makes it light and strong enough. The locks are strong but not tight. Easy to unlock and lock. The body is poorly constructed. Some cavities (for a nest) are too small and the nests don't want to go in. The other cavities are too big and the sockets are regularly out of place when I open the case. If only the hull had been designed better. Looking at the connectors, some of them are VERY poor quality. Some teeth are missing an end and some are too small…
