Great price with one caveat.

As many have said, the small bumps at the end of the outlet cause problems with most outlets. The good news is that they are pretty easy to sand/file/cut. I used one of those multi tools, but a dremel or even a good file will do. I would buy it again because the price is right and it took me 15 seconds to put it on. One star off for a stupid design choice. Annual update: Cable worked perfectly last winter. Used several times, once three days in a row. Soaked the whole house without anyโ€ฆ

Good power cord but requires minor modifications

Good product, first time I used it during a recent power outage. Strong connections between plug and cable. The only issue I had with the product is that the plugs have two opposite "ridges" on either end, presumably for a better grip by the user. Unfortunately in my transfer switch setup the connector was recessed into its housing and the connector couldn't reach the pins. I found this when checking the system and was able to fix it by snipping off the "combs" with a knife so I had no problems

Does exactly what it's supposed to, no problems or issues.

Just to be clear, this is a synopsis of the 10 foot cable that seems to come and go on this site. This is exactly what I wanted and needed. I have a "generator shed" near my office/store and the 4 pin twist lock I installed directly on the wiring to my fuse box has failed. Just before Hurricane Matthew. So I took the right outlet, installed it on the inside wall of the generator room and used it to get there. It worked flawlessly, flawlessly, nothing got hot or even hot and provided me with 240
