First impressions I thought they were thicker material. After using them, the color of the straps came off on my hands! The next mistake was that the hooks on the end of the ratchet were reversed: when you're holding onto something, the ratchet has to face up for you to ratchet, but in this case the ratchet faces down.

I used these to tie a 700 lb quad to a trailer. Unfortunately, the belt broke and couldn't handle the impact force of the ATV while riding on the road. As I was initially skeptical about the thickness of the strap I added a few extras and the quad didn't leave the trailer. I am very unimpressed with these tapes and would not recommend them to anyone.

Love the straps and they work as they should. The only thing I found was that the bolt that attaches the short strap to the ratchet was completely loose on 4 out of 6 of them. Nuts were just threaded or two. easy fix, just used 2 wrenches to tighten them. I don't think the screw would come out under load, but next time you use them they might not.

Straps and ratchet are very good. hooks are terrible! I bought them to use for bike racks but they weren't a good choice. The "hook" can be 120 degrees. Depending on what you're grabbing, it's very easy to wiggle them a bit and have them sit at an actual 90 degree angle (like 3/4" padded handlebar straps on a dirt bike).

Fantastic! After more than 6 months of use, they have proven themselves well. I use them to secure my 800lb quad to a trailer. They're a little worn, but take abuse and move on. Very wide and thick nylon with finer and more compact fibers that allow the strap to better manage tension. They wear out more easily than professional belts, but for the price, they're amazing. They handle my trailer bounce and ATV suspension better than any I've tried in the same price range.

Damn great! High quality webbing, durable and well-built metal brace with natural rubber so your hands won't get hurt if you overtighten or loosen the strap tension. And the coating of the metal hooks is even very thick. By the way, these metal hooks do not bend. We used to buy "good" straps, but the stupid hooks were bent! I ordered these a few months ago. I think I got lucky and the ratchet at the top of the stack worked fine. Now that it's too late to return it I finally needed a second ratchet, I found it's the only one that works properly. I have the second out of six to be able to click one click at a time, so I'd say 1.5 out of 6 works.
