The key is not good, the combination cannot be changed

The cable seems to be good but a bit short. Only the front wheel can be blocked. It says there are 2 keys in the set, but there is 1 "key" in the set that is not a key. It's a piece of metal that's only good enough to give you a combo that can't seem to be changed. Not impressed at all.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

High Security - Bike Locks

I used this to secure a Brooks saddle. I lock myself on the street next to college so I'm more confident my bike is safe. It helped me get a little bit more confident. Does not prevent motivated theft, but is sufficient as a deterrent. I really like the covered chain. Be sure to measure. It was a hard landing getting him where he needs to be.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

This is good for bike locks

A good, inexpensive lock for securing a bike seat to the frame or less valuable items to the boot. You cannot register keys with Abus on their website. That makes sense since replacement keys cost almost as much as a lock - about 2/3 the cost of a lock. $12.99 for the key and $18.99 for the lock. I use this to enclose my ladders and garden tools in my yard.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Exterior

Works like a lock for a helmet

Used to attach a full-face helmet to the bike. Long enough to fit through the face hole and frame. It's small and light enough to carry on the bike, even a big bag is a big plus. The downside, of course, is that the chain is only enough to deter a passing thief. It quickly gives way to bolt cutters or a cutting wheel. Five stars because the compromise is right.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Functionality

Advertised as a combination. combo/button. It's not a combination lock!

I could see that the item in the picture does not match the description. So I took a risk and thought that the combined part is hidden. Other reviews concerned another chain lock from the same manufacturer. But it comes with two keys as advertised and no combination. My fault haha I will only use it to attach the bike case to the bike.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Security

Better than cable locks.

Research online. I used to use cables to secure my seat. If you use it to secure your seat I would prefer the OnGuard Akita. Besides, it's an abuse. Abuse of the highest quality. Actually, all my U-locks are from Abus. They're way better than kryptonite. 60 cm should be enough for a saddle. If you plan to use this to mount the front tire to the frame, I would recommend the longer one that Revain offers. If you're counting grams, then stick to the cable. I'm not sure how heavy it is, but I'd say

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some bugs

This is the perfect length to go from my bike seat to my frame with just enough slack to fit my pannier under the saddle (see photo). I really appreciate that there is no extra length in this application. I've also attached my bike bag to this lock with stainless steel zip ties, making the bag more likely to stay in place. The last thing I ran through this lock was a custom cut stainless steel cable to secure my TiGr lock with a TiGr mini lightweight titanium bike lock with bike mounting clipโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Legacy
