Sturdy Bike Lock

I've just bought a Rad Power bike and needed a quality lock to secure it. I know any lock can be picked, but this ABUS will deter less motivated criminals.

Pros
  • Sport and Leisure
Cons
  • Some Flaws

Too short to be useful

I don't know how they measure 110cm but this lock doesn't even come close. This lock is so short that it can only go around the rear wheel/rear triangle and possibly a narrow strut. Not 110 cm, I will not need.

Pros
  • Sport
Cons
  • No instructions

PERFECT for expensive bikes or motorcycles

Expensive. Difficult. Costs. That. The rule of thumb I've heard when choosing a bike lock is to spend 10% of the bike's value on the lock. So, for example, if you have a $2,000 bike, it's worth spending $200 on a lock. I'll go even further as my tourer isn't interchangeable (I use *two* *completely* *different* premium bike locks).

Probably the best chain lock in the world

This is the strong lock I use on my bike. It is very break-resistant and can be cut in just a few minutes with an angle grinder. It withstands this type of cut better than any other lock, except for Kryptonite, which is no inferior here. But Kryptonite has key blocking issues, which is why I chose it over Kryptonite. There are many stories on the Internet about their locks not opening, but with Abus locks there are practically no problems. The chain case is very good and holds up well. Germanโ€ฆ
