Must-Have for Secure Cycling

According to my experience, this adapter is a game-changer when it comes to bike locking. Its sturdy build ensures that my V-brake system is compatible with various locks and reduces the risk of theft significantly. The only con is that it takes a little bit of effort to install, but it's worth it for the added security. Highly recommend for any serious cyclist.

Pros
  • Allows you to securely attach a U-lock or chain lock to your bike frame
Cons
  • Requires a specific type of brake system, limiting compatibility with some bikes

Difficult Installation

The adapter comes with Phillips head wood screws (not bolts) and the metal adapter has unthreaded holes. I'm guessing the idea is to put the screw through the hole, but it's very difficult to do this without removing the head of the screw. If it had a hex head it might be easier to drive it with a ratchet. In its current form it is difficult to install and not that secure.

Pros
  • Sports and Recreation
Cons
  • Some Problems

Does the job! for cycling

I bought these as a solution for my new M-Wave frame lock (for my bike) which I also got from Revain. Most American riders are probably not familiar with frame locks as they are not used here as they are in Europe. As other reviewers have said, most American made bikes are not designed to use/install frame locks. I looked around and noticed vendors selling some sort of aftermarket harness system that would help you attach the harness to the frame and then attach the frame lock. To me this…
