Needs better straps

The material of the cover is attractive and seems strong but I couldn't get the straps tight enough, I used the best design I had on hand. Otherwise I would give the cover 5 stars. After two months I haven't had a lid long enough to speak of durability.

High quality self adhesive vinyl cover

I really liked this air conditioner cover but had to return it because although it was small it was too big for my new 8000 BTU air conditioner which I also bought from Revane. It is made of high quality material and made right here in the USA! Request: Please make it in X-Small by sending back with a sad face ):

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Faulty

good plastic - heavy

They don't last - even the slightest wind blows them away. The straps are not tight enough. I had to resort to industrial strength Velcro to keep them in place and even that didn't work after a major hurricane. Abandon one of them completely. To their credit, good quality plastic is heavy. But they need to improve the installation system.

Neat, strong and drafts are not visible.

Quick and easy to put on, especially for an older woman. I was particularly impressed that I didn't have the slightest trace of a draft in the house. I expected to have to cover the inside as well. We had several raging north winds and there was no breath inside. It fits great and looks beautiful. 10 year guarantee and Made in USA, I am more than satisfied.

The case is excellent no strap included

The case is thick and quite heavy and I really liked the case. I found the belt thrown in the box after looking for it. I have a smaller air conditioner than the smallest size it was designed for and the belt does NOT wrap twice, it's too small. Previously I had to use a bungee cord in the front. Instead, I recommend buying a pair of straps. The belt buckles also didn't hold the belts in place and could come loose in strong winds.

  • Good product for the price

Excellent quality

This is a great air conditioner housing. It is well made and very durable. My unit is at the bottom of the applicable measurement, so is large, but I just tightened the extra stuff. It's not pretty, but it's at the back of my house, so I don't care. It keeps the cold out really well in winter and I love that it protects the air conditioner from windblown debris three seasons a year. It's not the cheapest, but it's good value for money as it's durable and well worth the energy savings and longer

Excellent coverage.

I installed this case last fall and it installs in no time: just wrap the straps around and tighten! The cover stayed in place through a severe Colorado winter (three snowstorms with 60 mph winds) and when spring came the cover quickly came off and was still in perfect condition. Update November 2017: I have had this cap for over 10 years. It's about 6 months a year on the AC unit. During those 6 months he is exposed to constant sunlight (at 6,000 feet), high winds, freezing temperatures and…
