🐶 High Protein Acana Grain-Free Adult Dog Food, Real Meat Recipe Review

There are only 7 dogs in our family and they all love Acana products for dogs. Love the fact that this is a quality product that has never been recalled. I also love the fact that Acana makes their dog food the way dogs would eat if they lived in the wild.

Very disappointed with this dog food. Little did I know it was only a 12 ounce package for over $9. Most dog food comes in 5, 7.5, or 12 pound bags. My fault, I guess, for not looking properly, he was so small. Now I can't return it and now I have to buy more dog food that's left with that tiny 12oz bag! Pooh!

I've been buying Acana food for my dog for 7 years. We had no problems, but this bag is really suspicious. I know the smell of dog food isn't supposed to be strong, but it literally smells like manure/barnyard. I have to wonder what is put in dog food at this point, she is a bichon not a goat.

Our dog didn't like it after testing it in his bowl. Very surprised as she has always liked the previous Orijen products we have given her. I wonder what this strain is different? We noticed that the smell is not quite right. A little bit different so we threw it away. We have decided to give up every brand of dog food and just make it ourselves again. At least that way we know what's in it.

I bought this food hoping to transition my dog from a less healthy food to an all natural food. I know my dog is a picky eater, but I also know I can't change her food right away.
