The product packaging was of poor quality. Twice I received broken thermometers. Two working days cost the company time and money.

The thermometer is fantastic and comes with NIST certification and calibration date. It took several attempts to return the broken ones, but Revane finally took the hint and sent one in a better box. It's no problem to return the broken ones, I will buy more.

This item was ordered 2 times and both times the thermometer arrived broken. The manufacturer's plastic sleeve is somewhat flexible and not enough to protect the glass from bending or breaking if it falls off the end, and Revain's extra box contains only paper wool. We need to replace this item but are now turning to another supplier who specializes in shipping these items. The 2 stars was because the (broken) thermometer looked like it would be perfect for a good price application.
