I wanted to like this product. I once had a very similar system for a radar detector, but this thing is just awful. Not only does the ball mount not fit the camera at all when I accidentally slipped some tape in there to secure it, the mount itself just keeps vibrating while driving. The entire image has motion blur making the camera unusable. Went back to the 3M tape mount I had before. It was just a waste of money. Very glad I didn't need frames during the week I tried this. Do not buy.

After a week of shipping issues I was finally able to get my mount. I have a Garmin 20 DVR and I hate the suction cup mount that comes with it. It always accidentally falls and gets stuck in my dashboard. This bracket was fairly easy to install in my 2014 Civic rearview mirror.
