Faulty Automotive Sensor Fails to Deliver

This sensor not only failed to do its job properly, but also caused damage to my engine. The only positive aspect is that it was easy to install. However, the cost of repairing the damage it caused far outweighs the convenience of installation. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable automotive sensor.

Pros
  • Accurately measures temperature for precise engine operation.
Cons
  • May provide inaccurate readings if damaged or improperly installed.

Save money on sensors

Purchased pcs instead of OEM. the part broke in the oil pan. I read on. Oil pressure is low. It was a bad block and I had to order another one. So maybe buy 2 if you order this part.

Pros
  • Coolant temperature
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Fixed: Check Oil warning for 2008 Pontiac G8 GT. Gratitude!

My oil gauge has been repaired. Just replace. with the right tools. You have to drain the oil or make a mess. easier to drain the oil. I waited until I had 30% oil life left and after replacing the oil pressure sensor and strainer first. All of these parts are pretty cheap. A flat jack was expensive. But now I can change my oil again. Also install a fumoto valve to drain the oil. This should fix the Check Oil warning on a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT with L76 6.0. DOD/AFM is still active. 140,000 miles.
