Better than aftermarket

served my cooling system in the summer. Winter has come, there is no heating in the car. replaced the new aftermarket that didn't work with this one. It is best to use oem multiple times. Looking at it you can tell that it is of much better quality than after sale and has a vent on the side thermostat. simply a much better part of the 2002 Buick LeSabre.

Pros
  • fully equipped with the latest technology
Cons
  • negative available

best for use in engine cooling and air conditioning systems

If you need a 195 degree T-Stat in your GM [Chevy] this is the best. I've tried Stant, Autozone and others. The gasket that comes with it is absolutely better than Fel Pro, Motorad etc. It's stronger, more resilient and seals well. air bubbles rise. [2004 Impala 3.8]

Pros
  • all products are designed for professionals
Cons
  • compatibility

Stant Superstat but branded as Acdelco

This is a near standard Stant 195F Superstat rebranded as 'Acdelco'. There are slight differences, such as the Acdelco flange finish. As a bonus when you buy an Acdelco stat you get a rubber O-ring that goes around the flange of the stat. If you don't need it I would recommend the Stant Superstat 195F, 45849. I think Revain is about $7 cheaper and made in the USA like this one by Acdelco. Overall, this Acdelco feature is an excellent statistic and includes V-notches for nonlinear flow.

Pros
  • is constantly upgrading our powerful devices to meet the needs of modern users
Cons
  • Quick guide

Wrong installation even though it fit my car

I only gave it 5 stars because I know it is a quality part and in my opinion I never buy anything as important as the thermostat in the aftermarket, here is the problem that it fits My Buick Park Avenue Ultra 98 didn't fit, I tried to use it, it didn't work properly and the car reported overheating. This thermostat is misaligned and has a wobble pin which the original didn't relocate and there is no wobble pin, I learned the hard way that you can't replace two. I hope someone reading this canโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Top quality manufacturer

  • Negative impression
