FITS NEEDS TO BE CHANGED - ALOHA

The mounting holes were too far apart so I had to modify this vacuum sphere by drilling my own holes with the universal drill. The Revain auto finder said it would fit my 1989 S-10 Tahoe 4.3L 4X4 so I don't think it's the seller's fault. Works perfectly, thanks!

Slightly narrower mounting tabs than stock

Removed the J-Nuts from the stock and fitted the new one. When installing I could not align the screw holes. I noticed that it is a bit narrower than the original. All I had to do was "spread" the J-nuts further apart (about 1/2 inch) and then install. Appears to be of good quality and works perfectly.

Exact, perfect replacement!

I got this GM/ACDelco vacuum reservoir to replace a 35 year old original in my 1986 GMC s-15 Jimmy that had a mounting hole punched in it. This tank is used to store excess vacuum from the engine to properly activate the vacuum controls for my car's air conditioning and cruise control as both systems require quite a bit of vacuum to operate. All in all an exact and perfect replacement for my original tank.
