Simple but not great design. Managed to get everything back.

Put them on my 04 Z71. It was the right hand parking brake shoe but the clip was the wrong one so I left the existing one in place. They are inconvenient to install. Simple but not great design. Managed to get everything back.

Pros
  • Annual probationary period
Cons
  • The list will be long.

This is not a sentence, just one.

It is totally illogical that all brake pads come in pairs, but these come as one unit. Had to reorder immediately when the workshop opened the boxes. Especially annoying for orders from the USA. Duplicate freight, customs documents etc. This must be clearly stated in the description.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Good but not great

AC Delco #171-0930 genuine GM parking brake pads.

Recently had a brake overhaul on my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer which involved removing the rear axle to replace a rusted rotor (here a Dorman replacement). Now there is actually no brake shoe adjustment and there is some adjustment of the parking brake lever in the car (see video on You Tube). I don't know why but I had major problems with the e-brake after changing the baseplate and everything else for the first time except for the e-brake pad. In fact there was no wear and tear on the old unit…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price

fit perfectly as they were OE replacements

parking brake pads arrive on time, fit perfectly as they were OE replacements. I don't see any reason for problems with it in the future. Happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • corrosion resistant anti-corrosive coating
Cons
  • poorly thought out
