Fits perfectly on my 2003 Ford Escape XLT 4x4

I have completely overhauled the brakes. My old rear drums have seen better days. These drums fit perfectly and the car brakes like a charm.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯

Fits 2001 Ford Escape rear

Identical to the drums I removed fit well. These are bare steel, so if you want them to last and not look like a rusty Titanic after a year, degrease them completely and coat them with primer and paint. Almost any color will do. They do not get hot during normal operation. just mask the machined surface to which the wheel is attached and don't get inside.

Pros
  • . Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Perfect for my 2003 Ford Escape Limited

Perfect for my 2003 Ford Escape. My original rotors were rusted to the point where bits of it fell in and caused more damage. If you have changed a tire in Belle Tire, Escape comes out with a loud grinding noise. If you're short on cash, changing the rotor is really easy. Remove the wheels, remove the rotors (make sure the parking brake is not on as it will catch the rotors). You may need to do rust control. Clean brake pads etc. with brake cleaner spray. Put on the new rotors in the same way…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Poor quality of the drums

This is a very basic drum with no markings. After a week of driving, I had a rhythmic double hit when braking, which got progressively worse. After removing the drum I found a small stain on the braking surface. I waited too long before installing them so now the problem is with the return. Now it's basically an anchor. Replaced it with o'riley's brake best for $20 more. Thats much better. It has all part numbers and diameter markings. The outside is even varnished and the next day I got a real

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled
