Easy installation and rotor protection!

I replaced all the rotors and brake pads on my 2007 F150. These machined locknuts are required to properly secure the front rotors with bearings.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Unnecessary functions

Spindle nut for gearbox and transmission

I recommend this spindle nut. It worked great. Unfortunately I had to replace the front windows again. So I've used it twice already. Worth the price and a piece of mind.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Difficult to say

it fits my 2007 F150 LX

This item is needed when I replace the front hub and rotor assembly on my 2007 F150. It's just an expensive lock nut, but a necessary part of the job. It worked well. Fits as expected.

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Fits 06 f-150, 2wd good for aftermarket

06 f-150 2wd, is the same as parts store just cheaper. Have used them many times with no problems. Just for 2wd front rotors, 4wd is a completely different system.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • not the best

Used this on my 2006 Ford F150. Be sure .

Used this on my 2006 Ford F150. Make sure you never reuse them and always rotate anywhere between 295 and 300 ft lbs when using it on the F150. Otherwise the rotor and tires can come loose!

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • Unsure

Equal or better than OEM Real Solid

Equal or better than OEM Real Solid. It already had a thread lock on it. Note that you will need a 3/4 torque wrench as it requires 295 ft-lbs of torque. No typo. It's 36mm. I bought a 3/4 wrench and a Revain head for about $105 because I run into them often. A guy with penetrating power will be able to install them fairly well without a wrench in my opinion, but the book says 295 ft-lbs with a torque wrench, so take that with a grain of salt.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Out of fashion

IF YOU ARE TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF GO AND BUY THIS THING!

Illustrations show two nuts side by side: original nut (left) and ACDelco nut (right). Firstly, as you can see from the photos, this nut is significantly deeper than the original nut which means it doesn't clear the cotter pin slot on the spindle meaning you have to go without a cotter pin. Your choice. Second, the nylon ring on the end of the original nut is threaded, on the ACDelco the nylon ring is unthreaded which further aggravates the problem as the unthreaded ring on the end does not…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Frequency
