If you want the best

Bought to replace the Silverado 6.0. When your LS motor has mileage, they can separate, causing noise and vibration. The quality is first class, as with every AC DELCO part. Very happy. Oh, and don't forget to buy a new bolt for it and torque it to the factory manual. Can fall without balance

Works like a charm, good for parts

2002 Suburban Chevy with 254,000 miles. V-ribbed belt eaten. All belt tensioners have been replaced. Also chewed my belt. So I bought a harmonic balancer and a mounting bolt (you need a new one. But I had my mechanic install it as it took time to get a puller and wheel press. Well that must have been the ticket because I just towed my 25 foot trailer to and from NorCal with no problems.

Make sure that there are no razor-sharp cut marks on the face!

I haven't installed the balancer yet and won't try until I've repaired the balancer nose. It has a very rough passage at the tip of the nose where it rubs against the gasket during installation. It's VERY sharp and I'm afraid it will cut or damage the seal. I plan to use a Scotch-Brite Roloc disc or something to smooth the drill bits before assembly. I hate oil leaks and this is easily their source.

Rotates correctly (Edit: Rotates correctly for a trip)

Quality replacement LSX truck engine balancer. It spins just right. The grommets on the back that the puller attaches to are smaller than the original ones I removed which can make removal difficult, but other than that works great. Thanks * Updated after driving, started reeling at idle. I don't know where they are made now but the elastomer seems to be of poor quality not to hold the pulley properly, the inner hub/crank rotates properly but the outer shell wobbles. Very disappointed with the…

Fits best in Harmonic Balancers

Had to replace one on my 05 Suburban with 5.3. This product fits perfectly with no problems. I used a 3 arm puller because I didn't want to rent or buy a real puller made for them. It was kind of a headache but eventually it stopped after 15-20 minutes. If you need to replace this part, replace the front cover gasket (GM part: 296-02) and the leveling screw (GM part: 12557840). Cheap insurance ($25 for both of you using gm/ac delco) as you can already replace them there so you don't have to…
